There are some common mistakes players make while playing Caribbean Stud Poker. These are mentioned below:

• If a player has a fair below 5, they will refuse to play and fold their cards. However, this is one of the biggest mistakes any player could make. Expert studies have shown that 44% of the time, the dealer’s game isn’t even worth qualifying and the players must have patience. 06.08% of the time, the dealer will have an ace, king and other cards, which are unpaired. So you can evaluate your chances of winning as exactly 50.08%. Why fold?
  
• There is an idea that if a player doesn’t have a pair, then the dealer will also not have a pair. So while the player tends to bet higher on the king and the ace, the dealer might simply win the round with a lower pair.
  
• The player should not bet high on A, Q, J, 10, 9 (unsuited) because they only appear to be good cards. These cards are off scoring.
  
• Never try to bluff against the dealer.
  
• Avoid folding if you have two pairs of cards or better.
  
• It is not a good idea to go for the progressive bet if the jackpot is low. Consider playing the bet only if the jackpot is very high and you think that you are a skilled player.
  
• If you don’t have any good card, the best (only) option for you is to fold your cards and quit
