The online gambling industry has more of good news as they have been provided with freedom from the arrows and slings of land- based casino gambling monopolies. The French Tennis Federation was in an attempt to sue some of the very popular internet wagering sites as they claimed the encouragement of fraudulent patterns of betting. All these happened in Belgium and Liege.

Anyway the case remained temporary as a judge ruled that the bookmakers who are in this case (Bwin, Betfair and Ladbrokes) had not been involved in any illegal matters accepting wagers on the sporting events. The judge even added that the online licensed betting sites in the European Union have maintained the regulatory protocols thus leading to integrity in sports betting.

The FFT was also charged as they were ordered to pay around 5000 Euro for every case so as to recover the legal fees. The Betting association and European gaming has praised regarding their original statement that the bookmakers was not involved in any illegal cases. The case also served as a warning to other institutions as well.

At the end of the day this ruling has been has served as a great victory for the online gaming industry and especially in Europe where in some state run gambling monopolies have been quite famous for bullying.
